A Virtually Painless Chemical Peel
That Gets Beautiful Results In A Week?
We like to stay on the leading edge of technology, procedures and products, so when we searched for the right chemical peel for our patients, we were looking for some important features:
• It had to be as painless as possible
• Would not require skin pre-conditioning
• Had minimal potential complications
• Would be safe to use on the eye area as well as neck, chest and hands
• Would be effective on all skin types
Only The Revolutionary Vi Peel Met Our Standards
Most peels have a “No pain, no gain” approach to skin care. See, the only way to get dramatic results are for the chemicals to go deeper into the tissue, but the deeper it goes, the more painful the peel becomes. The Vi Peel is the first peel to combine the strongest and most effective acids without causing undue pain. It also does not require skin pre-conditioning (a hassle) and it is effective on all skin types.
Results In 7 Days, Not Weeks Or Months
Why wait weeks or months for results when you can enjoy beautiful, radiant skin in about a week? Only the Vi Peel offers the chance for fast, dramatic results.
What Exactly Does The Vi Peel Do ?
It tackles problems at the cellular level rather than just burning skin off. Because of its special acids and vitamins, it reverses sun damage and the signs of aging. In addition to improving skin tone and texture, the Vi Peel is highly effective on these skin problems:
• Hyper-pigmentation, including melasma
• Clearing acne
• Improving acne scars
• Age spots
How Fast Will I See Results?
A single Vi Peel will achieve significant repair and add a healthy glow to the skin. Some conditions like acne scars, pore enlargement and hyper-pigmentation may require multiple applications. Be aware that you have to repeat the treatment at home two more times.
What Kind Of Results Will I See?
It takes about four days after you finish peeling for the skin to return to its normal PH and to see the final effects. The skin will look luminous and glowing. Hyper-pigmentation will be improved or eliminated, depending on the amount of damage. Tone and texture will be improved for a more youthful, radiant appearance.
How Long Do The Results Last?
Like everything else in life, skin needs maintenance. The Vi Peel’s results will last until the next treatment as long as you maintain it with an effective regimen. That is why we offer our award-winning SeSDERMA skin care line for you to use between peels.
Will It Work On My Skin Type?
Yes. Vi Peel is the first peel that is safe and effective for ALL skin types. For the first time, our African-American, Asian and Latin patients will have access to the rejuvenating powers of a chemical peel.
How Much Pre-Conditioning Of The Skin Is Required?
The Vi Peel requires no pre-conditioning of the skin associated with older-generation peels.
Does It Burn?
Not really. You will feel a slight stinging sensation for a few seconds, which subsides almost immediately. The peel is applied topically, and numbing of the skin takes place after the first pass. Some patients may feel more comfortable using a fan or cold air breeze.
How Badly Will You Peel?
There will be a heavy amount of peeling.
What Will I Look Like Right After The Vi Peel?
The skin will look slightly tan, yellow or red immediately after the peel and that will last for about 24 hours. On days one and two, the skin will feel slightly tighter, with no visible signs of having had a peel. Any pigmented areas might appear slightly darker.
Is There Down Time?
No, but there will be a heavy day of peeling. Also, avoid heavy sweating for the first few days.
Can I Wear Makeup After The Vi Peel?
Yes, after the peel solution has dried completely (about two hours).
Does It Work On The Hands Or Chest?
Yes. It is highly effective in removing sunspots from the hands, arms and chest, and eliminating the wrinkles associated with sun damage on the décolletage. The peeling process for these areas is different and longer than for the face.
How Long Is A Treatment Session?
About 20 minutes. For the full effect, you must apply the peel two more times at home.
How Often Should The Vi Peel Be Done?
About once every three to six months.
Are There Side Effects?
You may experience up to four days of sensitivity until PH of the skin is replenished.
Can I Go In The Sun After The Peel?
The only days where exposure to the sun should be seriously avoided are days three and four, when the skin is peeling, to avoid uneven exposure. After that, you can enjoy moderate sun exposure (with sun protection, of course).
Who Will Perform The Vi Peel?
A certified aesthetician supervised by Dr. Gurley.
